- Apr 03, 2018 -

In the ancient China, the high turn and water lift was the embryonic form of the modern bucket elevator and the scraper conveyor; in seventeenth Century, the overhead ropeway was used to transport the bulk materials; in the middle of the nineteenth Century, the conveyor of various modern structures appeared successively.

In 1868, a belt conveyor appeared in the UK; in 1887, a screw conveyor appeared in the United States; in 1905, a steel belt conveyor appeared in Switzerland; in 1906, an inertial conveyor appeared in the UK and Germany. Since then, the conveyer is influenced by the technological progress of mechanical manufacturing, motor, chemical and metallurgical industry. It is gradually perfected, gradually from the completion of the transportation in the workshop, to the completion of material handling in the enterprise, between enterprises and even between the cities, and become an indispensable part of the mechanization and automation of the material handling system.
